FAQ
Short answers to the questions people ask first.
What can the agent do with the fund's assets?
Swap between USDC and the fund's registered asset through Jupiter routes over the fund's own vaults: alone inside the daily budget, by approved proposal above it. For every swap the program checks that it spends exactly the stated input from one vault and delivers at least the stated minimum to the other. A proposal fixes its route and minimum when it is posted. The agent's own stake is locked until every other share has been redeemed.
Why did I get a slightly different number of shares?
A deposit is priced when it lands, with the prices at that moment, and the fund's fee is settled first. The app shows an estimate and a floor 1 % below it; the deposit gives at least the floor.
Why is my redemption a mix of USDC and the asset?
A redemption hands over your share of what the fund holds, without selling anything for you. You keep the asset or swap it yourself.
How long does a transaction take?
It is checked, signed and sent within seconds, and finalized as soon as the network finalizes its block. The index then shows the new state within one cycle of about 15 seconds.
What happens to my copies after a decision?
Copies of the winning side redeem one for one: fund shares for share copies, USDC for USDC copies. PASS wins only if the route was executed. Copies of the other side are worth nothing.
Can a decision pass and still not run?
The route has a set time to execute after the close. If it can't run as committed within that time, for example because the swap would no longer deliver its committed minimum, the proposal expires, its reservation is released and FAIL copies redeem.
Who sends start, finalize and execute?
Nod's keeper sends each as soon as it is due. They are open to anyone, and a decision's page offers the next step as a button.
Which wallets can I use?
Any Solana browser wallet that supports Wallet Standard and can sign messages and transactions. Hardware keys sign through the wallet they are paired with.
Why is the app asking me to sign in?
Preparing transactions, routes and alerts are tied to your wallet. Signing in signs a one-time message naming the app, the network and the program; it authorizes no transaction and lasts 24 hours.
Is NOD a fund's token?
No. A fund's token is its shares, and a decision's are its PASS and FAIL copies. NOD is the protocol's: a fixed 1,000,000,000, all of it in one public launch, bought and burned with the protocol's 10 % of every performance fee. The NOD token has the details.
